"Power lines, my travlin' partner on this ride. Dripping, pulling - up and down, in this sing song, their lullaby blends with the swaying train. I curl myself into this journey; folding myself up into this pocket of time. Old familiars greet me - that swing set in the back yard, the ruins of an old church covered in new birth and old - mixed with unremembered newness." Soap Poisoning

Happy Holidays, whatever event your celebrating. A Christmas Story is a movie I look forward to watching around this time of year. Its well written, entertaining, and I can relate too many aspects from running from the bully to getting in trouble for the things our parents taught us. I never wanted a gun. No way! I did want to write like this though.

Seasons Greetings! ~GoGo

Hello sweet friend.... I've missed commenting here, though have been reading faithfully. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas today!

Your last post really spoke to me.... especially the following quote about CHANGE:

"She opens doors and offers me the choice to go through or not. She offers me adaptability. She bestows upon this self the chance to not have to be the same person."

Wow, thank you for giving me a fresh perspective on change. So often I see this as a negative because of the stress that inevitably comes with it, but my attitude toward it could alleviate my stress level if I could learn to face it in a different way. Does that make sense? Anyway, thanks.... as always, your post has spoken to me.

And I can't remember if I commented on the other one a while back, where you talked about moving. Even if I already did, I want to say again how much that post touched me. I am so proud of you for pursuing the direction your heart is taking you... this opportunity toward growth. It's awesome, GoGo.

And you asked a long time ago if anyone ever calls me Cali (Callie)? The answer is no... but most of my friends call me "Caliss".... they just chop off the last letter a.

Love you and happy holidays!
